Just a note to say thanks for the wonderful workshop.  I know it's a lot of effort to put together, select the right people, get the publishers lined up, etc.  I thought it was great and your efforts are much appreciated.

I got some great tips, and more important I met some fine folks, which was more than anything the whole point for me.

Hi Barbara,

Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful weekend at the Pitch-to-Publishers workshop. I had a great time meeting everybody and soaking in all the valuable information. I came away feeling very positive, mostly because of the supportive things that you had to say. Thank you for that too! It's obvious that you and the publishers care about songs and songwriters, and that means alot.

The workshop also re-energized me and made me realize that I need to commit more time to songwriting, on both the creative and business sides of it.

Thanks again, and I'll be seeing you around town.

Thanks for an awesome workshop! In an industry where getting through the door to one publisher is like a fat man getting through the eye of a needle, you gave us an opportunity to get in front of not one, but six publishers (one of whom invited all of us to stop by and play a couple songs!) Also, as far as networking with other writers, every single writer there had a ton of talent and loads of craft and I'd be thrilled to co-write with every one of them. 

Thanks for listening, for giving honest and thoughtful feedback and ecouragement and keeping it real. It is clear to me that you love songs, songwriting and songwriters and I thin kthat, an you, are the bomb. Keep writing!

Hi Barbara- Sorry this is late in coming , but I've been on the road. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the workshop and your help. Do I have what it takes to be a country writer ? Maybe not, but regardless the workshop has made me a better writer. Thank you again and I look forward to another workshop.
